The penis is the male sexual organ. The penis consists of 3 main parts: the glans penis, two rod-like structures that allow the penis to harden and the urinary canal that allows urine to be expelled. It is congenitally formed in different lengths and thicknesses.
What is Penis Thickening?
The circumference of the penis in erection is 10-11.5 cm. Penis thickening is performed by transferring tissue into the penile skin. Patients usually request thickening for psychological reasons.
Penis Thickening Surgery
The circumference of the thickness of a fully erect normal penis is 10 – 11.5 cm. The penis thickening operation is performed by injecting 20-30 ml of fat tissue taken from the abdominal area with liposuction under the skin of the penis with a thick needle. This fat distribution should be done symmetrically around the penis. However, fat cannot be injected into the penis head (glans). In other words, even if a symmetrical fat distribution is made to the penis, patients may not be satisfied with the appearance because the penis head remains small. In addition, 50-60 percent of the injected fat melts and disappears within 1 year. When the fat distribution is asymmetrical during penis thickening and the fat melts over time, an asymmetrical appearance creates a worse aesthetic appearance than before. In this case, patients who have been operated in other centers return to their former state by removing the fat tissue by us. For these reasons, penis thickening by injecting fat is not a preferred method.
In the penis thickening technique we apply, we remove and prepare a quadrangular wide, stemmed dartos flap (tissue) from inside the scrotum (scrotum) bag. We wrap 360 degrees around the penis under the skin and close the penis skin. Thus, we obtain both a symmetrical and a more smooth thick penis.
