Nasal tip aesthetics or tip rhinoplasty (tipplasty) surgery; It is the process of changing the
tip of the nose in three dimensions to achieve ideal size, shape and proportions without

What is the Difference of Nose Tip Lift Surgery from Other Nose Surgeries?

nasal bones are also intervened in classical rhinoplasty surgery, only the cartilage and
soft tissues that form the tip of the nose are intervened in nasal tip lift surgery. Since the
nasal bones are not touched in this surgery, the operation takes less time, postoperative
edema and bruises are less, and the recovery and return to normal life is shorter. On the

Male and Female Patients?
Both the ideal angle between the nose and lips and the alignment of the back of the nose
and the tip of the nose are different in men and women. Excessive lifting of the nose in
men gives the man a feminine, feminine appearance and is also undesirable. Therefore,
approaches should also be different. While the tip of the nose is more upturned and
narrow in women, the lip-nose angle is kept at 90 degrees in men and is not thinned too
much. On the other hand, the tip of the nose is slightly more prominent than the back of
the nose in women, while the back of the nose and the tip of the nose are kept in the
same alignment in men.

It is performed under local or general anesthesia under operating room conditions using

After Type Rhinoplasty Surgery and
Recovery
Liquid food is started to be taken by mouth 2 hours after the operation and the patient is
up and walked after 4 hours. The patient lies in a semi-sitting position on the bed. This
minimizes the pressure on the facial area and minimizes possible swelling and bruising.
At the same time, blood leakage is reduced. Cold application is applied on both sides of
the nose. Straining movements such as leaning forward, straining, excessive talking are
avoided. Edema begins to decrease within days following the surgery. However, it takes
6 months to 1 year for the edema and swelling to completely disappear and the nose to
take its real appearance.
